Juanita is described as Authentic, Transparent, Encouraging, Caring, and Straightforward.
She is a servant leader, author, humanitarian, investor, and speaker who is committed to empowering people for spiritual, personal and social transformation. Juanita is a catalyst for change, with a voice of love, hope, truth, justice and freedom. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and now resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Since 2006, Juanita has been involved in ministry as a youth leader, street evangelism, community outreach, humanitarian services, mission, and speaking.
Juanita has impacted thousands of youth speaking at schools. She also teaches personal development workshops and seminars, as well as Christian Education classes at her Church. By the Grace of God, Juanita has survived various dark valleys which has encouraged her to convert her “past mess into messages” that are inspiring, liberating and transformational.
Her story has been featured in Epitome Magazine and she was a nominated for the best testimony of the year award. She has also been on several radio shows.
Juanita attended Southern University New Orleans (SUNO) concentrating in Sociology. She attended Cedar Valley Community College concentrating in Business Marketing. Juanita is a certified Lead Community Chaplain with Chaplaincy Services International. She is the Founder and President of Moving Beyond the Four Walls, a faith-based, community outreach and humanitarian organization that is designed to serve and provide solutions to underserved communities in inner cities.
In her leisure time, Juanita enjoys spending time with family, reading books, bowling and playing golf.
